How old do you have to be? What is the minimum age?

In most cases, you need to be AT LEAST 18 years of age to do these online surveys.

Do I need experience to do this?

No. It is oh so simple. You'll receive online survey invitations in the email. Just click the link they provide. You'll be transferred to the paid survey. Fill in the pre-qualifying details. When will I receive my first survey invitation?

Judging from the feedback we receive and our own experience it could be a week or two before you receive your first paid survey invitations from a company.

How often will I be emailed these surveys?

It depends on how many companies you sign up for and how much demand there is for people with your characteristics. The thing to do is to sign up for as many survey companies as possible. We have enough companies for you!

The number of surveys you can expect to receive varies so much. I think it's safe to say that you could see 1 - 3 survey invitations per month (per company). I can't guarantee it, of course.

How do I ensure that I receive all the surveys paid invitations?

Set up an email account specifically for surveys. And, check this account daily.

Or, if you do use your main email account (which has its advantages) set up a special folder for surveys. Then set up a "filter" which will direct any email with a certain word in the subject or body to a folder of your choosing.

As soon as you receive the first email from a "fun survey" company, add them to your favorites list. Be sure to mark the email as "Not spam."

How much time does it take to complete a questionnaire?

Surveys paid generally take 3 to 13 minutes to complete. The survey questions are very simple so you can whiz through them fast. Most of the survey questions are checkbox or drop-down menu style. Just give your honest opinion even if you think a product stinks big time. The survey company doesn't get offended. And, neither will the company who commissioned the study.

How much money can I make?

No one with ethics can guarantee how much money you can make doing surveys. It depends a lot on how many survey companies you sign up with, and how many online surveys they have available. Also, it depends on how many surveys you choose to fill out.

Will you make enough money with these surveys to buy a mansion?

Sure, if you also have a ton of OTHER money, or win the lottery. Ignore the hype, you are not going to making a killing with surveys. Online surveys provide potential "supplemental income."

Some people hype a "$120 an hour rate!" They might base this on a "half-truth." Say you get a $10 survey that takes 5 minutes to complete. They would say, "That's 120 bucks an hour
RATE!" Beware of this nonsense. It's not like you will have 12 such surveys in an hour. You are only interested in an hourly rate if you can actually get the quoted rate if you put in an hour (or get an hour's worth of work). Ignore hourly rate projections.

How will I receive payments? And, how often do they send checks?

Some fun surveys paid companies will offer to pay you via PayPal. You may wish to consider going for it as you'll get paid faster (and don't have to worry about the check getting lost in the mail!). And, if you live outside the U.S., it might be especially valuable. Otherwise, they'll send you a check.

As far as how often you'll receive a check??? It varies by company. Don't fret it. Just get started ASAP joining companies so you can get a steady flow of checks coming in (hopefully!).

Do I have to pay taxes on the earnings?

I'm not a tax expert by any stretch of the imagination. But, I do believe one must report survey income that's in excess of $600 a year.

Global residents? Sorry since laws vary by country… I can't say. Please check with your government officials (web site?) if there's any doubt. Sorry I can't be of more help!

Do I have to do every survey they send me? If I don't do every
survey, will they take me off the list?

No. You do NOT have to do a given survey. If you don't, it will not affect your chances of receiving future surveys. It's all done by computers.
