Mystery Shopping For Money, Products, and Fun – Get Paid To Be
A Mystery Shopper.
I
have mystery shopped for years. Whenever people got wind of
what I was getting paid to do, they became quite intrigued.
Actually, shocked, is the more appropriate word. I would hear,
"No way. You're pullin my chain. You get PAID just to shop?
And, donkeys fly." It's true! But, in all actuality, in most cases I did NO
shopping. I simply visited a store.
Mystery shopping is also "secret shopping". I
prefer, "Mystery Visiting", myself. It's all quite simple,
frankly: You are paid to visit stores and rate the service
and/or products.
Companies want mystery shoppers to visit their stores to give
them a sense of what their customers encounter. The
information they are provided with can lead them to make
strategic and lucrative decisions.
After joining mystery shopping companies, you'll be sent an
assignment along with a list of things to look for when you
visit the store. After you've mystery shopped a few times
you'll have the basics down by heart.
You'll need go to mystery shopping sites and type
in their registration forms. It's free to join. I'll show you
how in a minute.
Now, please don't cringe at the thought of filling in forms.
It will become a cinch quick! In fact, in a few moments, I'll
show you how to get "form
filling software" for free. You just plug in your name,
address, etc. once and from then on, whenever you want it to,
it'll fill in forms using that info. By the way, you can
change or override this information at any point.
When the mystery shopping company has an assignment in
your area, they'll fax, mail, or email you details. Or, in
some cases, they'll just email you a link to their web site
with all the facts. You'll receive facts such as the store's
address, a checklist of things to look for, and other
information (including payment, etc.). Then you'll visit the place within the time range they specify
(generally, they have a range of dates)
You'll then go to the place without calling attention to the
fact that you're a "mystery shopper". Just go in like you go
into any store. Don't bring a clipboard and a big red pen.
And, don't wear a shirt with the
words "Mystery Shopper" written on it! Just mosey around and
observe.
Don't worry, after awhile you'll become a great actor and
really be inconspicuous. No one will know what you're up to.
Soon you'll be ready for Hollywood. After a short while you'll
improve your observation and memory skills and be as observant
as a top detective.
After you leave the store, you should go out of view of the
store and fill in the questionnaire you were provided. Then
you'll fax, email, send, call, or enter your findings into
their website (they will tell you which method they want).
Sounds good? So, you want in? Well, that's easy. First, find a
list of as many links to mystery shopping companies as
possible (I'll tell you how to get these links shortly). But,
wait a sec, you don't have to do all the labor yourself, it
has been done for you (see below). You'll save tons of time
and effort. And, you can get this solution for free.
I urge you to download form filling software. This
powerful software tool will fill in every form you encounter.
It has been around about 10 years (and continually updated).
It has been downloaded millions of times and has been tested
and proven effective.
At the time of this writing it is hands
down the best form filler out there. If there was a better
one, I'd recommend it. But, anyway, you be the judge (it's
free). Download it right from the creator of the software. No
middleman. NO cost. It will take about
1 minute to download.
This article will stay in place in the meantime.
The next step to becoming a successful mystery shopper is to
visit the following site and add your name (or nickname) and
an email address into the box at the upper left of the site.
You'll then receive their ezine (which also includes paid
survey companies) for free.
Every issue includes DIRECT links
right to the free registration form of each mystery shopping
company they have. Yes, you click a link and voila you are at
their join page. Imagine the time and effort savings! Just
click the form fill software's button and it will fill in the
form for you. Okay, it won't be able to answer every question
(unless you anticipate such questions and use the software's
"custom fields" feature).
So, click
here and join now to become a mystery
shopper. The ezine is free to join (ad supported) and all the
companies are free to join, as well.
Here's to your new vocation that will seem like a vacation…
